The Greater DuBois Area Pro-Life  Chapter held their 18th annual Life Chain event on Sunday, October 4th.  The Life Chain event is a national event that is held all across the country every year.  There were also Life Chains in Punxsy and Brookville as well as in DuBois and other surrounding towns.  The purpose of the Life Chain is to take an hour of your time and pray for an end to abortion, pray for mothers that might be thinking of having an abortion, pray for the unborn children, as well as to pray for our elected officials and the leaders of our country to end abortion.  It also gets people that drive by to think about abortion and the consequences of it.

Members of Pennsylvania Freedom Fighters attended this event in DuBois to support our local pro-life chapter.  According to Tom and Judy Tarcson,  who head the Life Chain event,  there were about 264 people in attendance.  The Life Chain also accepted donations of baby items as well as money to help the mothers that chose LIFE instead of abortion....
