Tyranny rules our nation now

Just a few years ago if someone would have indicated to me that personal liberty and national sovereignty would be in the state of jeopardy I would have said, "No way, that can't ever happen here in America."  Flash to the present, I am responding to "Congress: Hold us without trials" by Donna Boring dated 1/19/2012.

Indeed, we have come to a point of tyranny and freedom infringement.   Further, our sovereignty has been compromised.  Our beloved country has turned on it's citizens in denying Habeas Corpus and allowing Interpol, a foreign police force, to conduct activities on American soil without restrictions and oversight.

On 12/17/2009 President Obama signed Executive Order 12425 that gave Interpol full immunity to conduct operations here without oversight or accountability.  Also, on 12/31/2011 Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act that contains sections enabling the military to arbitrary and indefinitely detain American Citizens without formal charges.  These actions can't be Constitutional, can they?  While Obama did include a "Signing Statement" denoting restraints to this Act, just how warm and fuzzy does this make you feel?

History has shown time and time again, directives such as noted here that things usually do not turn out well for its' citizens.  So, if this is bad, what are you going to do about it?   You can remain mute thinking that you will "never" be affected by these dictates.  Hopefully, you will not be snared.  On the other hand, currently you at this time can have an effect and voice your opposition to this.  I have led by example, I have started to contact local, state, and federal reps in opposition to this.  I probably can't do it alone.  Therefore, for your own freedom and security, what are you going to do?
