About Us

How did we become Pennsylvania Freedom Fighters?

The average American could care less about politics much less pay attention to what is going on in the political world.  That has all changed due to the election of our current president,  Barack Obama, in 2008.  Obama's campaign slogan was 'Change We Can Believe In' for America.  Most people did not know what type of change was in store for us....he neglected to tell us that 'change' would equal loss of freedoms and America as we know it.

The main stream media aided his campaign by remaining silent on who Barack Obama was/is and his socialist agenda for our country.  With the help of his administration and his allies in the Senate (Harry Reid) and the House (Nancy Pelosi), President Obama has changed our country alright.

Due to the concerns of average Americans all across the country, the TEA Party was formed.  The 'silent majority' is now awakening...they are asking questions and demanding answers.  They want to educate themselves about the political process, our Constitution, legislation, and how to get involved.

In August of 2009, a tea party meeting was held in Rathmel to see if there was enough interest to start our own local TEA Party group.  With over 75 people in attendance, it was decided to start a local group.  After a couple of organizational meetings, Pennsylvania Freedom Fighters was born.

Regular monthly meetings are held at 6:00 pm the second Thursday of the month at the Rathmel Grange located 3 miles East of Reynoldsville (near Well's Junk Yard) on Rte. 322.  We offer a place for people to come and educate themselves, we give them tools and ways to get involved, then we encourage them to get involved.  It is also a place where you can come and find out that you are not alone in your thinking...we are just average Americans who love our country.  Though we may not agree on all things, we can work together on things we do agree on.

In March of 2010, a request was made to see if a sister group could be started in Hazen. With an overwhelming response, the PFF of Hazen group was started.  It also holds regular monthly meetings at 600 pm the first Tuesday of the month at the Warsaw Fire Hall (site of the Hazen Flea Market) on Rte. 28.  We have many talented and caring people in both of our groups and I'm proud to work along side all of them.  Please check out our PFF events calendar for dates and times.

Since we have formed, we have done many things.  We've talked directly to our local, state, and federally elected officials, held town hall meetings with elected officials, held candidate forums and town hall meetings for candidates running for office, attended many rallies in both Harrisburg and Washington DC,  held both a Freedom Rally and Constitution Day Rally in DuBois, had information booths at local events, written letters to the papers, been on the radio, encouraged people to run for office, got people into local offices, encouraged others to start their own groups in the area, talked with our family, friends and neighbors about different things going on, worked on voter guides to educate the public on who is running for office, held Constitutional studies classes, had our own PFF patriotic float in local parades, started a PFF TEA Party News and Views paper....and the list goes on.

Whether it is with Pennsylvania Freedom Fighters or with another local group, we encourage you to get involved with a local TEA Party group.  We can not turn this great country around without YOUR help...after all, we are all in this together.

God Bless (and save) America!

Patty Fish

Pennsylvania Freedom Fighters Mission Statement

We are a non-partisan group that is dedicated to upholding the Constitution along with our individual freedoms and liberties.

Our primary objective is to speak out, or rather shout out, against the rapid expansion in the size of federal government, the astronomical debt created and being passed down to future generations, and the billions going to special interest groups to ensure the re-election of the career politicians who created this mess.

We are shouting out against open borders, amnesty, dependency on foreign energy sources, on demand abortion and federal funding for it, the destruction of traditional marriage, religious, and family values, new ammunition taxes and firearm restrictions, and the general dismantling of the Constitution and loss of individual liberties it was intended to protect.

We are not a single issue group nor will we skirt around sensitive issues.

We are committed to upholding our Christian values as our Founding Fathers intended.  We are here to educate, motivate, and stop the march toward socialism, and ultimately restore the Republic so our children will not live in tyranny, or in a country we would not recognize.

The silent majority will be silent no more!

The Goals of Pennsylvania Freedom Fighters:

Educate: educate members about how our govt. works, current issues, and how govt. decisions affect them.

Motivate: encourage citizens to vote, give them the education, tools, and support  they need to be responsible members of their community with regards to ensuring our govt. remains for the people and by the people.

Activate: give members avenues and solutions to being active participants in Democracy.
